The Bangalore facility opened in 2000 with a handful of engineers, and now approximately 25% of NDS employees are based in India, making the Indian operation the second largest in the NDS global network providing jobs and training to over 1600 staff. With our R&D facility in Bangalore and commercial support offices in Mumbai and Delhi, NDS is committed to the Indian market and to developing and providing industry-leading pay-TV solutions for subscribers.

Our areas of specialisation are Set-top Box (STB) software integration for various customers worldwide, Electronic Programme Guides (EPGs) based on Java for various middlewares, Interactive Television (iTV) applications for digital television and Internet technology, and Digital Video Recording (DVR) technology.
